Quarter Horses, Buckskin, Red Dun, Dun, Horses, ---About Just A Two Bit Ranch

Just A Two Bitt Ranch, owned by Tim and Melanie Bittinger, is a 61-acre horse farm with a well stocked pond situated next to our turn-of-the-century home along with 10 acres of woods. This is where we raise quarter horses. In addtion to raising quarter horses, we both work full time. Tim is the Operations Plant Manager for UMD Incorporated, and I (Melanie) am the Scheduling Coordinator for Divelbiss Corporation

Raising and showing our horses is what we both enjoy. Both of us are very dedicated to each other and to the Lord, and thank God many times each day for how much he has blessed us.

We have shown horses all over. At such places as, Tom Powers Pleasure Futurity in Berrien Springs, Michigan, All-American Quarter Horse Congress with three different horses, Totally Triples, One Classic Moment and Heza Classic Moment. Heza Classic Moment, "Huggie", is our first IBHA World Champion and a dream come true. We show yearly at the IBHA Dunarama World Show in Columbia, Missouri and show at Quarter Horse Futurities in Ohio and West Virginia. We show at buckskin shows nationally and in the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

We have raised, shown and sold many Furturity Champions. We have been Top 10 at the Quarter Horse Congress, Tom Powers Pleasure Futurity and many times at the IBHA World Show. Many of our horses are also money earners. We have won many prestigious awards such as All-around High Points and Circuit Champions and Futurity Champions. Our broodmares are like queens, and we spend a lot of time with our babies, as they are handled daily.

Our breeding program combines athletic ability, conformation, willingness and beauty with our beloved broodmares, which have qualities such as gentleness, beauty, ability and willingness to please, good legs, deep-hocked lopers with natural headsets and some are horses that will halter and ride.
